Elizabeth Lake
Elizabeth is responsible for supporting the Head of Finance and Operations in running efficient and effective accounting, financial management and financial reporting processes in relation to AKF (UK) managed properties. She maintains a working relationship with finance, operations, property, facilities and HR staff from AKDN agencies, and external property management companies.
Elizabeth is a Chartered Management Accountant and joined the Foundation in 2020 after two years working for a multi-academy trust. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked for an international development organisation, where she was based for a period in Liberia, before transitioning to a finance role five years ago. Elizabeth also holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
