Programme Finance Officer

Job purpose:

To support the Programme Finance Manager in running efficient and effective programme financial accounting, programme financial management and programme financial reporting processes in relation to AKF (UK)’s programmes and grants. To provide support to the full life cycle of grants: from donor concept notes/proposals to final reports. To maintain a close working relationship with AKF (UK) finance and programme teams and relevant staff from across the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) agencies and external donors as required.

Partnerships Officer, Schools2030

Job purpose:

AKF(UK) Partnerships Officers are part of the Global Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Partnerships team tasked with identifying and cultivating new funding partnerships and strengthening existing ones to support our strategic goals. This Partnerships Officer will focus specifically on the management of Schools2030 grants and supporting the Schools2030 team in resource mobilisation opportunities associated with Schools2030, including current and prospective donor engagement and concept/proposal development and review.

Schools2030 is a ten-year participatory learning improvement programme based in 1,000 government schools across ten countries. Using the principles of human-centred design and focusing on the key transition years of ages 5, 10 and 15 years old, Schools2030 supports teachers and students to design and implement education micro-innovations. These low-cost and scaleable innovations will inform and transform education systems to improve holistic learning outcomes for the most marginalised learners worldwide. Graphic Designer & Content Creator

Job purpose:

The Aga Khan Foundation, one of the world’s leading charitable foundations, is looking to strengthen its communications department with a Graphic Designer & Content Creator who can elevate AKF’s communications by developing visually powerful graphics and social-first video content that add a new creative dimension to AKF’s communications and enrich the stories we tell.

This role will work with the Global Lead – Communications and the broader communications team to produce visually engaging content for use across AKF’s communications channels and refresh AKF’s brand image globally. The person in this role is expected to have formal training in graphic design, experience of developing high quality digital and print graphics and video content for social media. Skills in video animation and illustration are not required but are desirable.
