Graphic Designer & Content Creator

Job purpose:

The Aga Khan Foundation, one of the world’s leading charitable foundations, is looking to strengthen its communications department with a Graphic Designer & Content Creator who can elevate AKF’s communications by developing visually powerful graphics and social-first video content that add a new creative dimension to AKF’s communications and enrich the stories we tell.

This role will work with the Global Lead – Communications and the broader communications team to produce visually engaging content for use across AKF’s communications channels and refresh AKF’s brand image globally. The person in this role is expected to have formal training in graphic design, experience of developing high quality digital and print graphics and video content for social media. Skills in video animation and illustration are not required but are desirable.

HR Officer

Job purpose:

To support the HR Manager to deliver the HR strategic objectives and promote an organisational culture built on respect, tolerance, diversity and inclusion that delivers a respectful environment for all employees, where they feel valued and supported, and equally able succeed, maximising their performance and potential.

The HR Officer will support the HR Manager in all aspects of the HR function and will be responsible for: recruitment including advising line managers and managing the onboarding process, managing employee relations and performance management, ensuring that policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably. This is a full-time role, however, 4 days per week (or equivalent 80% of FTE) would be considered.

Global Training Coordinator

Job purpose:

The Training Coordinator holds a dual responsibility: (1) supporting the development and implementation of the global Safeguarding Training Strategy, including the coordination and delivery of impactful training programmes, and (2) providing overall administrative support to the Global Safeguarding Lead, facilitating their ability to fulfil AKF’s Safeguarding objectives.

This role is adept at managing essential administrative functions to ensure that operations related to Safeguarding are carried out seamlessly and effectively. It therefore plays a key role in fostering a culture of awareness, responsibility, and adherence to safeguarding principles across the organisation. Hybrid working; this is a global role reporting to HQ.

Climate Data Analyst

Job purpose:

AKF’s Global Programme Team is looking for a full-time Climate Data Analyst to support the collection, management, analysis and visualisation of its climate related data. AKF’s climate data includes:

• Greenhouse gas emissions from AKF’s operations and reduction targets

• Nature-based solutions such as tree planting, mangroves, micro forests and soil regeneration

• Clean energy infrastructure

• Shifts towards regenerative agricultural practices.

• Jobs created and enterprises supported in the green economy.

The Climate Data Analyst would help position AKF as a thought leader in climate resilience, contributing to the global evidence base on climate change and climate resilience.
