Multiple inputs for aggregated improvements to the quality of life.

Our approach to multi-sector initiatives

Working alongside its sister AKDN agencies, in many of the places it operates, the Foundation takes a multi-sector approach.

This could include initiatives in health, education, micro-finance, cultural conservation, tourism promotion, enterprise development, access to finance, disaster risk reduction, and energy and infrastructure in one concentrated region at the same time. We do this because such integrated initiatives are mutually reinforcing and because they can dramatically reduce vulnerability and increase prosperity.
